Pretty Soon Even Manitoba Will Have a Nordstrom

Once again, my dear Dad alerted me to some late-breaking Nordstrom news:  the company is making its way into Canada.  CANADA!  Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver!  For eff's sake.

Now let's take a peek at this little graphic:

The white states are Nordstromless.  Please note that of the only 15 states in the Union that DO NOT have Nordstrom, I have to live in one of them.  Even ALASKA has one.  My Inuit ancestors in their igloos have a better shoe - well, boot - selection that I do here.

Now that I've gotten that out of my system:  my latest Hip Mom article is up here - about tennis.  It will be many, many years before I can do anything like tennis, but gosh - every mom I talked to is addicted.  

I guess that's what we have to do down here to console ourselves over the lack of decent shopping.
