And hello: soccer tournaments, birthdays, heat (although can you believe I saw 84 degrees today on my car thermometer? Miraculous!), school, and soon...fall.
Our dear, silly, highly entertaining (and sometimes grating!) son Will turned six this weekend. We celebrated at the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, where we happened to have another brother's soccer tournament. And in that factual sentence resides so much more packing, unpacking, fighting over electronic devices, miles logged, errant pukes, and chicken nuggets than I care to recall.
Here are the pictures I took over Will's birthday weekend:
Oh Will. I hope you loved your Wolf cake, the Legos (that I suspect his older brother talked him into wanting; but if that's what Will wanted - time with his older brother without teasing or berating - I suspect that's just as good a birthday present as any), and the water slides. You drive us bonkers sometimes, but way down there below the showboating, you are still the same sweeter than Splenda, curious, imaginative, charismatic little guy we adore.
Happy birthday baby boy.

Happy birthday, Will! You are an endearing little ham. You have some beautiful sisters too :) See you soon. Love, Aunt Molly
