Sleepless Sylvie in Seattle

When we are not driving my parents insane with dirty feet and shrieking gun fights, we have been quite busy here flitting about the Northwest:
Colette riding the Seattle Great Wheel - not perturbed at all

Yes my bra was showing.  I had to edit that out, classy chick that I am.

Only a little nervous to be riding this
And actually playing outside in the afternoon without suffering heat stroke:

While there have been the usual moments of frustration that accompany a "vacation" with many children (Sylvie, for example, has decided she just doesn't like to SLEEP all that much) - accompanied by the feeling that I am overwhelming and overrunning my parents' home - I am trying to remember that I am giving a great gift to my Okie children:  a summer completely different than the one they would otherwise be sweating through in Tulsa.  And while it always sounds great for PVT to remain in Tulsa while we stay here, we all miss Dad very much.

Keane's view from the Ferris wheel
But someone has to support all these trips to the mall, I suppose!
Starbucks in Seattle is just so much more...Starbucksy
